UK: travel conditions to and from our destinations

Dear partners,

To help you see more clearly, we have summarized the conditions for travel to and from our destinations.

IMPORTANT

• On this page we list the requirements for screening for the virus (via tests) or vaccination, which we consider to be able to influence the decision to travel in our destinations. But other conditions to be fulfilled, such as downloading applications or filling out forms, may also be required for travel: inquire before departure, we are at your disposal to inform you.
• For all destinations, we recommend that you contact the airlines which may require stricter rules than those in force in the country, especially with regard to travel with children.
• For European destinations, the presentation of a valid European COVID digital certificate is strongly advised.
• Magic Travels is not responsible for the information provided and sudden changes may occur depending on different countries and governments.

PORTUGAL

I AM VACCINATED

On the outward journey

I present my complete proof of vaccination.

Upon returning to the UK

• Take a COVID-19 test – you must take the test in the 3 days before you travel to England,
• Book and pay for COVID-19 tests – to be taken after arrival in England,
• Complete a passenger locator form.

I AM NOT VACCINATED

On the outward journey

I perform an RT-PCR test within 72 hours before boarding, or a rapid test of antigen within 48 hours before boarding.

Upon returning to the UK

• Quarantine at home or in the place you are staying for 10 days
• Take a COVID-19 test on or before day 2 and on or after day 8

I AM VACCINATED

On the outward journey

I present my complete proof of vaccination.

Upon returning to the UK

• Take a COVID-19 test – you must take the test in the 3 days before you travel to England,
• Book and pay for COVID-19 tests – to be taken after arrival in England,
• Complete a passenger locator form.

I AM NOT VACCINATED

On the outward journey

ABU DHABI

The United Kingdom is NOT on Abu Dhabi's green list.

I AM VACCINATED

On the outward journey

If I am arriving from green list destinations I must take a PCR test on arrival without the need to quarantine, and another test on day 6, if staying in the emirate.

If I am arriving from other destinations I must take a PCR test on arrival without the need to quarantine, and further tests on days 4 and 8, if staying in the emirate.

Upon returning to the UK

• Take a COVID-19 test – you must take the test in the 3 days before you travel to England,
• Book and pay for COVID-19 tests – to be taken after arrival in England,
• Complete a passenger locator form.

I AM NOT VACCINATED

On the outward journey

If I am exempt from vaccination or arriving into Abu Dhabi from green list destinations I must take a PCR test on arrival, without the need to quarantine, and take PCR tests on days 6 and 9.

If I am arriving from other destinations, I must take a PCR test upon arrival, quarantine for 10 days and take another PCR test on day 9.

Upon returning to the UK

• Quarantine at home or in the place you are staying for 10 days,
• Take a COVID-19 test on or before day 2 and on or after day 8.

I AM VACCINATED

On the outward journey

I take an RT-PCR test within 72 hours prior to departure and I present the evidence of a full vaccination, and a second one upon arrival (at my own expense: 28 JOD).

Upon returning to the UK

• Take a COVID-19 test – you must take the test in the 3 days before you travel to England,
• Book and pay for COVID-19 tests – to be taken after arrival in England,
• Complete a passenger locator form.

I AM NOT VACCINATED

On the outward journey

I take an RT-PCR test within 72 hours prior to departure for Jordan, and a second one upon arrival (at my own expense: 28 JOD).

Upon returning to the UK

• Quarantine at home or in the place you are staying for 10 days,

• Take a COVID-19 test on or before day 2 and on or after day 8.

GEORGIA

I AM VACCINATED

On the outward journey

I present the evidence of a full vaccination.

Upon returning to the UK

Georgia is on the UK's red list, which means that even vaccinated travellers must quarantine.

I take an RT-PCR or antigen test within 72 hours before flying, I quarantine for 10 full days in a managed quarantine hotel (the day of arrival in England counts as day 0) and I take a COVID-19 test on or before day 2 and on or after day 8 of quarantining.

I AM NOT VACCINATED

On the outward journey

I take an RT-PCR test within 72 hours prior to departure for Jordan, and a second one upon arrival.

Upon returning to the UK

I take an RT-PCR or antigen test within 72 hours before flying, I quarantine for 10 full days in a managed quarantine hotel (the day of arrival in England counts as day 0) and I take a COVID-19 test on or before day 2 and on or after day 8 of quarantining.

I AM NOT VACCINATED

On the outward journey

I take an RT-PCR or antigen test within 72 hours before arriving in Georgia.

Upon returning to the UK

• Quarantine at home or in the place you are staying for 10 days,

• Take a COVID-19 test on or before day 2 and on or after day 8.

OMAN

I AM VACCINATED

On the outward journey

• I present my complete proof of vaccination and perform a PCR test prior to departure or upon arrival. ‍‍
• RT-PCR test before departure: I have to do it 96 hours before the scheduled arrival time at the Sultanate for international flights of more than 8 hours (traffic included) and 72 hours for shorter flights.  
• RT-PCR test on arrival: it is the responsibility of the passenger and the latter must be isolated by using an electronic bracelet while the results are published. If the test is negative, the traveler can move freely. If the test is positive, a 10-day quarantine is imposed.

Upon returning to the UK

Oman removed from red list on Wed., September 22nd. From this day, the following rules are applied:

• Take a COVID-19 test – you must take the test in the 3 days before you travel to England,
• Book and pay for COVID-19 tests – to be taken after arrival in England,
• Complete a passenger locator form.

I AM NOT VACCINATED

On the outward journey

Non-vaccinated travelers cannot enter Omani territory (except under 18 years of age and special cases of people at risk who cannot be vaccinated: see specific conditions).

Upon returning to the UK

• Quarantine at home or in the place you are staying for 10 days,

• Take a COVID-19 test on or before day 2 and on or after day 8.

EGYPT

I AM VACCINATED

On the outward journey

I present the evidence of a full vaccination.

Upon returning to the UK

Egypt removed from red list on Wed., September 22nd. From this day, the following rules are applied:

• Take a COVID-19 test – you must take the test in the 3 days before you travel to England,
• Book and pay for COVID-19 tests – to be taken after arrival in England,
• Complete a passenger locator form.

I AM NOT VACCINATED

On the outward journey

I present a negative PCR test certificate on arrival, of a PCR test conducted no more than 72 hours prior to flight departure.

Upon returning to the UK

• Quarantine at home or in the place you are staying for 10 days,

• Take a COVID-19 test on or before day 2 and on or after day 8.
